Waimea Bay Beach is a well known surfing
spot and surfers come from around the world to this location in
the winter months for the typical 20 to 30 foot waves. During
surfing season parking is difficult at this beach. It is
recommended for morning or early day weddings as it gets crowded
in the afternoons. Restrooms are available.

Immediately: All outdoor weddings on public land now require a permit.
We will not perform a ceremony on any public land until all
necessary permits have been approved. Failure to get the
required permit for a wedding on public land could result in the
wedding being stopped by law enforcement officers and fines of
up to $5,000.00. We will obtain
all necessary permits for your wedding ceremony and/or
reception.

Large
wedding ceremonies with over 50 people require a permit
from the City & County Parks Department. Wedding
ceremonies requiring equipment set up including chairs
for guests, wedding arch, torches, etc. also require a
$250.00 deposit which is refunded within 60 days after
the wedding. If your reception will be held at the ark
an additional permit and deposit may be required. We
will obtain all necessary permits for your wedding
ceremony and/or reception.
