Moanalua Gardens, a
26 acre public garden with a taro patch and Koi pond is one of the smaller
gardens located in Honolulu, Hawaii. It is small in size, yet still has a
charm worth looking into. The grand spread of old
monkey pod trees shade the wide expanse of green lawns that invites one to
sit and relax. Allowing the troubles of the day to pass away. There
is a stream that flows through the garden. Many people will have their
wedding ceremony next to the Koi pond, in the shade of the
old monkey pod trees. There is also an area built
specifically for weddings which is a small hill surrounded on three sides by
lush green foliage. Plenty of free parking in the nearby parking lot.
Restrooms available.
Please note:
Outside providers of services we offer are NOT PERMITTED at this
location.
Moanalua
Gardens will only book reservations 2 weeks before the wedding
date and will only allow weddings of 20 or less guests which
makes this location very difficult to use for most weddings. No
equipment set-ups at all are allowed any longer at this
location.
