lookout point high above
Makapu'u Bay on the cliffs under Makapu
Lighthouse. The views from this
location are magnificent,
especially if you would prefer a
wedding high up above the ocean
on a cliff instead of on a
beach. The lookout area features
an ample parking lot and
wheelchair ramps making this
location very accessible. Below
are some of the views from this
location.
During the winter months
(December - April) humpback
whales can be seen from here,
especially with the aid of
binoculars.
Just 15 to 20
minutes from Honolulu and
Waikiki.
Can be crowded with tourist at times.
