After more than 15 years of coordinating and performing weddings for hundreds of couples in Arkansas, Arizona, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina, and Florida, Archbishop Anderson moved to Hawaii and saw a need for competent, caring, detail oriented wedding officiates in Hawaii.

He attended several weddings of his friends and acquaintances which were handled by other services and officiates who were not as attentive to the smaller details as Dr. Anderson was or by pastors of churches that did not have much experience performing professional weddings. Even though the couples were pleased with their overall wedding ceremonies, Dr. Anderson definitely saw room for improvement in many areas of the wedding services they provided. Paradise Weddings, Inc. was founded upon the principle that our clients deserve only the absolute best with their wedding.

Dr. Anderson also worked as the Travel Agent for the entire State of Hawaii for a Nationwide home health care company responsible for setting up the travel and medical care needs of their clients visiting or traveling through Hawaii as well as the travel and medical needs of the Hawaii clients traveling back to the Mainland United States or foreign countries as well as cruise ships around the world. With this experience, Dr. Anderson is well versed in meeting the needs of travelers with special needs. Dr. Anderson is also a Certified Hawaii Destination Specialist.

Paradise Weddings & Travel is an authorized ministry of the Ecumenical Catholic Church of America. We use the proceeds collected from our products and services to further the mission of the Church, which includes Homeless Feedings and other community projects which benefit the underprivileged and our community as a whole.

We offer wedding officiates and ministers who can provide almost any type of wedding ceremony that you wish including Catholic, Non-Denominational Christian, Anglican, Shinto, Jewish, Buddhist and civil styled ceremonies. Some of our wedding officiants require that the couples that they join in marriage have completed this course. Whether your chosen officiant has required that you complete this course or not, we believe that ALL prospective couples will benefit from what they will learn about themselves and their prospective mate from this course. As a company, Paradise Weddings does not require pre-marital counseling to its couples. We have however, left this decision up to each individual officiant. Our officiants are ministers of churches of different denominations across the island. We do this in order to provide a wide range of options to our couples. No matter what the background or beliefs of the couple, we have an officiant to handle their wedding.

Weddings away from home, often called destination weddings, combined with honeymoon getaways are rapidly growing in popularity. What better place to "tie the knot" than in Hawaii. We are able to provide services with very little notice, depending on your wishes and needs. Some wedding arrangements require being scheduled at least 3 to 6 months in advance, due to site reservation issues. If you are wanting a plain basic ceremony on the beach, residence, hotel room, etc. with no decorations, we can normally provide this service same day.
